Terms of Service

By accessing or using Siftly (“Service”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Siftly offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

• No refunds — All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
• Plan changes — Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
• Price changes— We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
• Failed payments — If payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until resolved.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, transmit, or store any unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated scripts to scrape, crawl, or excessively query the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
• Generate, distribute, or store spam, malware, or harmful content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these rules, without notice.

Your content — You retain ownership of all notes, documents, and materials you upload. By uploading, you grant Siftly a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display that content solely for providing the Service to you.

Our platform — Siftly and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Siftly and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

AI-generated outputs — Study materials, summaries, and questions generated by AI are provided for personal educational use only and are not guaranteed to be accurate. You assume all responsibility for how you use AI-generated content.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) errors will be corrected; (c) the Service is free of viruses or harmful components; or (d) AI-generated content is accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIFTLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SIFTLY'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SIFTLY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 1,000 — WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Siftly and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including IP clauses, disclaimers, and liability limitations — shall survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
